Welcome to North Padre Island on the Texas Gulf Coast

The Gulf Coast’s pride and joy, the PADRE ISLAND NATIONAL SEASHORE. The park is the “longest seashore in the National Parks System” – a 70-mile patch of coastline just east of Corpus Christi with its sparkling waves, serene beaches and colorful wildlife. The 70-mile long park is just one portion of the 130-mile long Padre Island known as the longest undeveloped barrier island in the world. Did you know you can drive on our beach! And fun-loving Port Aransas, Texas is only a short 15-minute drive from North Padre Island!

The mild, semi-tropical climate and warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico offer outdoor enthusiasts the ideal location to enjoy activities such as fishing, birding, sailing, golfing, surfing, windsurfing, kiteboarding, beachcombing, and so much more! The kids are sure to enjoy the lazy river and slides located at the Water Park on the Island! Whatever your beach pleasure, at dusk, be sure to check out our AMAZING sunsets! In addition, we’re just a short drive to downtown Corpus Christi, The Texas State Aquarium, the Corpus Christi Marina, and the USS Lexington Museum.
